I purchased the 8" men's half tights, and a pair of 1.5" women's shorts for my wife. Both items fit incredibly well, and feel awesome when worn. The tights have gone on a couple runs with me and they're perfect. They come with two pockets on either leg, and a secret "pocket" within the waistband near the small of the back. Highly recommend!

These shorts are so much fun - the popsicle print makes me smile. The 4" is a great length and they are cool and comfortable for running. I also appreciate the zippered pocket for small stuff that I don't want to lose. They fit great; for reference, I am 5"2, 114 lbs and the small is perfect.

I ordered 2 pairs of shorts -- bananas and duckies-- and love the cute design and fit. Very comfortable liner material that breathes. The rear pocket is ideal for a key and a gel pack but if you need extra gel packs, it's a tight fit. Thanks for the great customer service.
Women's Aqua–Limeade 1.5" Split Shorts
I've been running for a little over 20 years and these are the best shorts I've ever used. The prices on running gear these days is insane, but not Chicknlegs. And there is absolutely no compromise in quality, comfort, or features. As long as the quality stays great and prices stay reasonable, I will forever buy way too many pairs of chicknlegs. While the fun designs don't really work for me (buying colored shorts was a big step for me since I always had to wear black for XC, so maybe someday) I love seeing them out in the wild.
A note on sizing—I wear small in most running shorts and the first pairs I got were size S in the regular 2" split short. They fit, but even just having my car key in the key pocket will pull them down a bit while I run. So, I've been buying the 2" DS split shorts in XS and they are a tad more snug than what I'm used to but still fit really well. I'm 5'5" and 135lbs, usually wear 29" waist in Levi's.
If you're on the fence, just buy them and get at least two pairs. I'm more of a short shorts guy, but I like half tights for racing and long runs. These have everything—quality, fit, comfort, price, pockets. They have the same liner as the 2" split shorts, which I've never seen in half tights but really like. Key pocket in the liner and a phone/gels pocket on each hip. For reference, I'm 5'5", 135lbs and S fits perfectly. Nothing beats chicknlegs, let's goooo.
