Responsibilities
As an apparel designer you'll work collaboratively with design, illustration, product management, overseas production, sales, and marketing teams to bring new product lines and designs to life.
- Develop novel products and designs from ideation through final production
- Work with overseas manufacturing team in the development process
- Create apparel mockups and visualizations
- Investigate market trends that align with the ChicknLegs brand
- Assist team in creating design schematics, and product line drafts
- Work with team members and leadership to ensure brand cohesion
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field
- Experience in technical sportswear
- Experience working across genders, including Men's, Women's and Unisex product
- High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of product design and development process
- Familiarity with product manufacturing processes including materials/fabrics, dyes/finishes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate effectively to overseas partners
